Clean Train Coalition’s Human Train Rally


The Clean Train Coalition hosted an amazing Human Train Rally on September 26th, 2009.

Cheri has been fighting against the Metrolinx plan to send 400 dirty diesel trains through the Union-Pearson Rail Link. She will continue to fight for electrification NOW.



Toronto Ukrainian Festival

Cheri was proud to participate in this year’s Toronto Ukrainian Festival. This year was particularly memorable for Cheri as she was one of the sponsors of the Holodomor Memorial Day Act, which recognizes the fourth Saturday in November to memorialize those who perished as victims of genocide by famine that occured in Ukraine from 1932-1933.


Roncesvalles Polish Festival


Cheri was honoured to take part in this year’s Roncesvalles Polish Festival. Her staff hosted a table at the festival and the bags, magnets, pins and goodies they were giving away were a hit!
